Lets make Natural part of New Normal

It took an effortless desire to give back followed by one year of extensive research and development to make first prototype from bamboo pulp which was grown and converted into fabric without causing damage to environment.

In the era of fast fashion, we aim to provide slow conscious choices through use of natural fibres that bring larger change in future. Conventional fabrics require either excessive natural resources or stay in the landfills for years.

Process of Bamboo Fabric in a nutshell

Only Sustainable and Nothing more

At Lush Hues, our processes at each stage right from fibre till the garment are managed in a manner wherein impact on the environment is minimal. Our bamboo fabric is made using the closed loop technology ie it recaptures and reuses 99% of the chemical solution, this minimizes the energy and water consumption.

Apart from using eco-friendly dyes for our garments, our packaging is also done in boxes that are not only biodegradable but are also reusable.  We firmly believe that if our actions done right today will pave a way for a sustainable future.

Its time to give back

We strongly feel that whatever has been bestowed on us is either from the society or the environment and its time to give back by taking conscious decisions.

Each person working for Lush Hues is paid fair wages and bamboo fabric is completely biodegradable and hence will not end up in landfills. We ensure that each piece provides timeless comfort but not at the cost of nature.

Landfills filled with tons of waste

Lets meet the woman behind it all

Shailee Bavishi
Founder and CEO

Mrs Shailee Bavishi, a Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary by profession, worked at various financial institutions like Axis Bank Ltd and Care Ratings Limited for a span of 4 years. However, hailing from an entrepreneurial background, the desire to start her own business venture coupled with a social vision led her to create Lush Hues.

Having researched on textile sector, the damage caused at each leg during garment construction (ie from fibre to garment) to the environment alarmed her. She, through her brand aims to provide consumers a chance to switch which is fashionable, comfortable and most importantly is economical and environment friendly.
